Looking forward to a "raw" piece of 'Old West' history...

I normally only buy graded coins but I decided to go for this little circulated gem. The gracious seller and I have come to terms on the price and I'm looking quite forward to seeing this coin in-hand. Feedback always welcome and appreciated.image

P.S. I am just head over heels over these early 1870's Seated CC coins.image

Dizzy, for a "Raw" piece of "Old West" history go out to the stables near where you live. There are PLENTY of raw pieces on the ground... image

    Fun coin, BTW.

Nice coin. Probably a g6 or so at pcgs. Looks a lot like this one wear wise.

  • Nice coin. I'm still hunting for a 70-CC Dollar that fits my tastes.

    Me Likes!

You didn't happen to read the recent CoinValues mag that dedicates an article to the "old west" coinage? CC and S mints are featured. Sure got me stoked.

    You apparently like to gamble.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

    Hey Tom,

That statement can also be made to many collectors out there who are buying coins already holdered.image

I agree.. nice coin... I have a '76 CC dime... and I really like it... now I want to complete the '76 series with a 1776 coin.... I have to get serious on that search... Cheers, RickO

It won't be complete without a 1976 con too. image
