Silver to Gold??

I've accumulated a large number of silver dimes & quarters (about 1,000 of each) and am considering converting them to gold.

What's the best way to do this? I know the BST forum is a possibility, I don't like the eBay option, and have thought of going to a B&M for a trade.

Any thoughts?

I would break it into 2 separate transactions.

Go fishing for the best deal to convert silver into dollars, and then go shopping for the best deal in gold using the dollars.

You could propose a trade on BST, but I have a feeling that you would have a difficult time finding an acceptable trade. I could be wrong though.

I agree, BST would work great for those. People are watching for silver right now! With the microsoft 10-25% off deals, and ebay 10% off codes given to some, I think you'd do alot better with cash in hand to buy gold instead of doing trades.
