Please help me decipher this voice mail. 1st grade math needed to solve

I must be the dumbest person in the world because I cant figure this out.

I am meeting someone in NY-
He Lives in Southern California.

Here is the voice mail.. I am leaving at 6:45pm and will be arriving at 8:00pm.

If I am suppose to pick him up at the airport, what time should i be there in eastern standard time.

Keep the jokes to a minimum if possible.

I don't think there can be an answer to this that doesn't sound like a joke. I suppose it's possible for him to leave at 6:45 EST and arrive at 8:00 EST if he catches a plane that manages to fly 2,400 MPH which is roughly 3 1/2 times the speed of sound.

I'm guessing that he leaves at 6:45 EST and arrivest at 11:00 EST.

I have no clue what the answer is. I am not trying to trick anyone just trying to figure out when to leave my house

If you know which airline they are coming in on and their departure airport, I bet you could look it up on the internet or just call the desk at the airport.
  • He was mistaken in his voicemail. If he was referring to 6:45 PST that would be 9:45 EST. So there is no way he could arrive on the East Coast an hour and 45 minutes before he left the West coast. Unless he was leaving at 6:45AM PST and arriving at 8:00PM EST.
  • I believe you mean Eastern Daylight Time.

I would guess he is on a connecting flight somewhere like Atlanta and that's where he's leaving from.

I would be sure he has your cell, $20 to blow at the bar and wait at home until he calls

Just leave now. You can always just sit at the airport and watch all the dummies who fall asleep sitting up, dripping drool all over themselves image

True story; My brother and I were waiting at the airport for somebody. I can't remember who, but that's not important. We were early so we sat down and waited. There was this guy sitting there sleeping, with his head hanging down towards his chest. He was obviously some type of executive given the fact he was wearing a really nice suit and tie. I thought too myself "that's the weirdest patterned tie I have ever seen".

So, I said to my brother "look at that guy's tie, it's got a really strange design on it". My brother said, "that's not a design, that's snot!"......lol

Sure enough, I looked closer and I could see the snot as long as spaghetti coming out of this dudes honker just pouring all over him.

    I'll never forget that image

I finally got in touch with him. He was in the northeast on a connecting flight. He left Southern cal at 6:45 am. Had a layover somewhere and then flew to ny from somewhere an hour away.

  • ....if two planes leave the airport traveling in opposite directions and one plane is half full, but traveling 50mph slower what is the drag coeffecient based on the windspeed of an african swallow...
