  • I seem to be in the minority here, but I am looking forward to this "update" set for 2008 Heritage. With the elimination of Bowman Heritage this year, I am kinda looking for more cards to tide me over until the 2009 Heritage set come out, usually around spring training. I am not really a master set builder, but enjoy looking at the cards and opening packs, just like I did when I was 9 years old.

The Heritage cards are a fun set to collect, with the retro design and cool inserts. I am sure to get some to give way with baseball-themed Christmas gifts and of course a box or so for my self to start off. I think once these cards are released, more of you will likely jump in with both feet!

Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to it as well. I just wish Topps would get away from product mixing.

I wish they would stop mixing as well. I don't know if I need to hold off on the update set now because they will be in the heritage. I don't want to waste any money right now. Hopefully they never get to a Heritage baseball and Camp Rock mix but you never know.

My dealer will have them for $55 per box. I will pick up 2 or 3 boxes. Is anyone sure about the release date?
Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.
