chinatown dig 8-01-08

today i dug with Riccar and another friend who does'nt post here. it seems a little lean with coins and metal objects. we did score a nice opium pipe(found by rick). i dug a much wanted large pipe bowl. there's still alot of area left to dig through, but its hard and rocky. can't wait to complete this site. i have another super large dump i want to dig through. this next one is the size of several football fields. this next dump contains items from WW1 and WW2. the dump was created from the asian population, when they were taken away and put into containment camps. i have'nt been there in 3 or 4 years, hope its still there.

    Brian, for some reason my computer doesn't like UTube. It takes forever to download and even then viewing is very choppy. I did get see some of your pieces though, they're very impressive!

    another friwnd of mine said he had the same problem. i wonder how many others have this problem. are you connected with dial up or DSL?

    I'm still on dial-up. <oh the shame> lol In my defense, I have successfully downloaded a number of UTubes, but for some reason these won't stop the intermitant pauses. If I get a chance I'll try again today.

    i get the pauses too sometimes. DSL really makes a huge difference. we got our dsl modem for free when signing up for yahoo as our provider.
