How to remove GOO on the back of graded card?

Bought a graded card and it had some stickers on the back, ID# prices. Got the stickers off and tried warm water and soap to absolutely no avail. Windex too. Can't get the goo off. Anyone have any ideas?

True, this can work...I try to follow it up with a microfiber cloth afterwards.

Gasoline. When your done using it on the card, you can always sniff it too.

    Seriously.

be carefull as some solvents will melt the plastic case....or if the psa collectors universe logo is older and on the case..it could remove that as well. goobe gone will do it
try on a card that has little value first.

THe sandpaper worked great! I used a real coarse grade. Left a few scratches but hey you gotta give a little.
Now I"m going to remove the gum residue from my Mickey Mantle 1952 card. I'll try the gasoline and go from there.

That might be more expensive than the card!

Do NOT us "Goof Off". I tried it on a PSA graded card that I had purchased at an auction. There was an auction sticker on the front that left a residue when I tried to take it off. When I couldn't get the residue off, I tried the "Goof Off" product and it totally ruined the case. I had to send it back to get reholdered. Of course later, I read the directions on the can and it said very clearly that the product might be damaging to some plastics. So I would suggest that before you use any commercial product, you read the directions carefully to avoid the problems I encountered.

I've always used rubbing alcohol but don't use very much.
