(: The "Ultimate" Buffalo Type Set - UPDATED WITH FRACTIONAL BUFFS - MANY PIX! :)

This collection represents every depiction of a Buffalo on US Coinage...
and thanks to the crack shot photo skills of Mr. Mark G. I was able to revamp my buffalo collection and display it properly.

******* UPDATE *******

Finally got around to added the 2008-W Fractionals to the templates.

Interestingly I had thought that i would now have some duplicates because I already had the $50 Buffalo Gold from 2006 (keep in mind the goal of this set is to have one of each "type"... Mint Marks included), but as it stands i only have 1 duplicate (the 06 & 08 $50 Proof).

What a great set! And, I'll bet you had a blast getting the photos shot and the presentation put together. Two hobbies in one.

that's for sure.... usually once you make the purchase the high tends to drop after a little while... but by continue with projects like this design / presentation wise... I get to enjoy the process all over again... being able to change up the presentation from time to time is what makes the hobby that much more fun for me at least.

But clearly you have too many other collecting interests and your colonials are probably just getting in the way. You should sell them to me. image

I have to get it in gear. I have 3 sets containing 2001-P Buffalo, 2006-W, 2007-W, and 2008-W Proofs in PR70DCAM. Only one decent 1913-S type 2.

I am still kicking myself for not picking up the 2008 fractionals from the mint. Oh well; I will get 3 sets of the fractionals in PR70DCAM no matter what the cost. The 3 sets are 1 for me and 1 for each daughters' college fund.

Love the unc fractionals. They are great.

Now this nice. I really like your idea here, very nice coins and presentation. I'd love to see them in-hand.
Cool idea and thanks for sharing.
Your presentation just reinforces the need for me to get a copy stand and decent camera. Once I get there then I can mess with your templates.

Buffalo sure look better than the dalmation I remember with a Frankie around it's neck. Nice to see you've upgraded animals. The elephant never forgets.

Very impressive amigo, however no buffalo set should be complete without the "Speared Bison" nickel. image
If I say something in the woods, and my wife isn't around. Am I still wrong?
