Really? Are they really all NICE or VERY NICE?!?!

I don't think so.

I know that his descriptions are a matter of opinion. In my opinion, this seller is an idiot.

This guy sells a lot of this low grade stuff on eBay.

Sometimes he has some good stuff, but not usually.

    Prethen,

I think you are being a bit harsh.

While his descriptions leave a bit to be desired, I've bought a coin or two from him and have been satisified.

My point is that his titles are lazy and deceptive. Every single title points out the coin is NICE when that's bull-honky. I noticed this when I discovered the "nice" 1875 3CN with a hole partially drilled into the date. Obviously, he's oblivious to the details of the coin when he creates his titles. I look at dealers like that and immediately think "scheister". Think "snow job".

So what....if the title says "Nice". Just look at the scan to evaluate the coin.

  • I have also bought off this seller and he does on occasion have some NICE stuff. I dont think he is an idiot though, he does sell alot on ebay. He must be doing something right cause he gets alot of bidders.

he lists lots of stuff and it is probably a generic title and he just changes the date in the title to match the lot.

The pics are good enough to see what you are getting, and they are easy to work with. They have 2508 listings, thats a lot of work and I can see why they use canned listings.

Hmmmm.....maybe he should title his auctions 'Crappy Coins" would that be more reasonable approach? At least he can take good pics. A pic is worth a thousand words (I just made that up as I write this)image

You are not the only one with that opinion (idiot). Several years ago he was selling counterfeit
gold. Like all sellers on ebay, be careful on what you bid, and know your series before you bid.
