First tell me if this is an abrasion (it's above the arrowheads on the reverse):

Looks like a die polishing issue to me; this one also has some weird stuff going on with the 2nd bunch of olive leaves to the left, the lower leaf is dashed. There is also the same polishing break between the last "E" in one and "D" in Dollar as appears above the arrow.

The dots in the cheek are frost breaks, under 7x this is one clean cheek

    I would like it a lot @ MS65PL. I would like it 'not so much' @ MS66PL.

    That is a really pretty Morgan. I can't see any bagmarks. I'll gues 65PL, maybe a 66?

Hard to say with a lot of accuracy on the pl versus dmpl, looks very high grade to me, either 65-66 pl or dmpl. I think the reverse is just pl with a dmpl obverse (JMO from a pic) so I am going with 65pl.
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

You need some practice with your lighting- the coins may be beter or worse in hand than in the images.

From these images I would say MS64 PL

I would say at least 65 PL, maybe 66, but the image is not clear enough to be sure. But then again, I usually cannot grade coins based on any photos in this forum.

65 PL and a 66 PL is possible but less likely that 65

Not all that great at grading PL Morgans but based on what I see, I'll go with the majority here and say 65PL, with 66PL not being out of the question.
  • Looks like an easy 66PL to me...can't judge the mirrors from the photo's so I can't tell if it's a DMPL.

The MS64 guesses crack me up....with a cheek like that the coin is a 64?.... image

Can anybody comment on the strange dashed olive leaf?
