That Witt is worth a bundle if it is an 8. How is the bottom edge on #3? It's got the best corners, but the worst PD - but if that edge is true it should still make it. I just sent in a couple Mazeroski's that have a nice shot at 8's, but my Witt's weren't this nice.
Am not sure if the Mays can get a 7.5 with the fairly common smudge.
Beautiful cards - that Witt is a beast!
edit: Nick, you don't have to defer to anybody - you are one of the few who consistently grades '62 cards correctly!
overall.. I have to say I am bummed.. not a clue what was recolored and the jello is super rare and worthy of a 4-5 1 1 14086405 NEAR MINT 7 1962 TOPPS 287 GEORGE WITT Card US 1 2 14086406 NEAR MINT 7 1962 TOPPS 287 GEORGE WITT Card US 1 3 14086407 N3: EVIDENCE OF RECOLORATION 1962 TOPPS 287 GEORGE WITT Card US 1 4 14086408 NEAR MINT 7 1962 TOPPS 287 GEORGE WITT Card US 2 1 14086409 NEAR MINT 7 1962 TOPPS 300 WILLIE MAYS Card US 3 1 14086410 N0: AUTHENTIC 1962 JELL-O 173 ROBERTO CLEMENTE HAND CUT Card US
You have been had my friend......I purchased a 62 Drysdale all star card for 6 bucks raw on Ebay. I dont have alot of experience on 62,s so I had a friend look it over and send it in on a submission for me. I was "praying " for a 7. My friend even agreed that a 7 would be a generous grade. The card came back an 8. Every one of those Witts blows my card out of the water. I really think graders on NOT on the same page when it comes to the 62,s. It sucks that you will have to resubmit those to get the proper grade.
I agree.. I thought maybe 2 of them might grab an 8... maybe a 7.5 and an 8 to all be 7's?? I mean I know there is leeway within a grade but some were nicer then others

I got 7,7,7 - sound familiar? Just part of the game I guess.
If it makes you feel better - I'll give you twice SMR for the nicest of the Witt 7's
