help with some coins

What would you say these are worth? The seated dime has every detail on the sheild still and liberty is easy to make out, hard to tell from scans. Are they rare dates? I collect paper money so I don't know anything when it comes to coins really.

    The half dime looks nice.If there's an O mint mark on the reverse it is worth a few more $'s.The 3 center isn't worth much in that condition.

    the seated dime has very deap details and looks very nice. my grandfather gave them to me. what would you grade them if you had to guess

    I think the half dime is somewhere in the VF range,but both coins may have active PVC from improper storage.I would give them a soaking in acetone just to be sure.Dont clean the coins though.

    how long would I soak them for? they were in a coin folder that was all cardboard now their in a binder with plastic sleaves that allow you to veiw both sides of the coin. Do you think thats doing it to the coin? The binder is a "the official u.s. mint album"

    according to the redbook
    about $30 each retail
    less if problem coins

    if my grandfather gave them to me, I would never sell them
