    << <i>Why is insurance $5? >>

I dont quite know why people dont just build insurance into the total shipping for the item (Im not saying $5 isn't, IMHO, expensive)

by ebay, it's the shippers responsibility to make sure the item gets into the hands of the purchaser, at their own peril, by rule. just cause a shipper hands their package to the post doesn't mean they're off the hook if the item doesn't arrive.

True, but insurance for most items under $50 is less than $2. USPS rates are $1.70 for less than $50 insured value. If you're using a private insurance carrier, and it costs you $5 to insure a less than $50 item, maybe you should rethink?

Since you asked, that ugly coin isn't worth much over $18 regardless of the plastic.

Its overpriced at the $23.50 its at now. Unless you expect it to sell for $200, $5 for insurance is too high.

I agree the insurance is too high at $5, that is set by default. It should be more like $1.75 considering this turd is going for under $50 for sure
