Yep, will be selling in about 10 years or so. Retirement fun, I hope. If not and the wife and kids have to sell it sure will be easier to do in PCGS plastic. This is my only $20 gold piece at the present. I've got lots of small stuff but only this one big one left (Roadrunner got the rest).

It continues to amaze me... value goes up because of plastic... I guess it is because the large percentage of current numismatists (and I use that term VERY loosely), cannot grade and need someone else's opinion... certainly making a large group of people wealthy.. and I do not mean the collectors... this whole story is sad... very, very sad... Cheers, RickO

Well, it has a happy ending for the OP, anyway. Two here thought it looked AU (I thought so, myself), and I'll wager that when sold later to a dealer, an AU offer would have been made. Now, that won't happen, so in that respect,

Good deals with: goldman86 mkman123 Wingsrule wondercoin segoja Tccuga OKCC LindeDad and others.
With all the counterfeits that are out there AND GETTING ALARMINGLY BETTER, pretty soon looks like the ONLY way to know for sure one has an authentic coin is to have it forever entombed in Plastic!
What's even more frightening IS the fact that there are COUNTERFEIT PCGS slabs on the loose!

I think Double Eagle 59 had a typo in his post.
Exclamation points are in order. Good question and Kudos.

You'll never know since I didn't voice my opinion beforehand.
BTW- Congrats on the results.
From the cardboard 2x2 I would have said Slider 58.......same with it in PCGS plastic
First to ask, thanks!
