The Mets win a lot of games in the months before September. Maybe you guys could try and move the World Series to, say, August 1.

Is that what they did in 86 ?

Kobe facts will get you into trouble here.

The Red Sox took 86 years to get a championship so of course these johnny come lately fans
    will have something to say.

Yes Red Sox Fans remember 1986.

    Steve
    Good for you.
  • Mets fans know all too well that ex-sillie Billy Wagner will be blowing a critical save in September or October
to break their hearts. Mets will probably have a 9-5 lead late in a game and Mr. Wagner will blow a gasket to break your hearts.
They'll have camera shots of Shea Stadium with fans holding their hands over their heads as hit after hit digs the dagger deeper
    and deeper.

    Sincerely,
    You have no pen

But WinPitcher doesn't remember 1986 - he wasn't born until ten years later.

When the Sillies win 10 to 9 all is ok in the dream world that Stalin lives in.

He then says " a win is a win' yet when the Mutts do it he twists and turns it around.

Does that guy have any credibility?

    Steve

edited to add: the answer is NO.
