I don't know, but the main metal in bronze is Copper, with secondary Zinc and other non-valuable metals. So it has to be less than pure Copper.
and also, I think alloy percentages for these metals for Bronze are not standardized in the world, so therefore establishing a set price for Bronze is very difficult.

French bronze - the more or less standard alloy of US cents until 1942 - is 95% copper, 5% tin and zinc in equal proportion. (There are other variations, too.)
In 1942 the US mint eliminated all except a trace of tin. Since then (except for 1943 zinc coated steel) that alloy has been used with the proportion of tin varying according to circumstances. All the mint wanted to do in 1942 and later was meet the letter of the law. Too much zinc makes the alloy harder but brittle.
About 45 years ago...when I was a kid, my Dad would both burn down copper wire he dump picked, and also sell bronze screws which he "picked up off the floor" at the boat yard he worked at. copper brougnt 43 cents a pound, while the bronze screws brougnt 26 cents. (its amazing how you remember the little things).
Its been many moons but I presume the difference is still there.
