Josh Hamilton is Awesome

I have never enjoyed a home run contest like this. Good for him to come back and do what he is doing. The fact that he has his old batting practice coach from when he was a kid just adds to this story. Way to go.

As a Reds fan I still like the trade. I just hope both players can keep it up long-term. Wouldn't mind seeing Volquez strike Hamilton out tomorrow night though!

I've been watching the Home Run Derby since 1959, and Josh Hamilton has certainly made tonight's Derby, one of the most exciting and enjoyable of all.

What a great guy with a remarkable story.

    God bless Josh Hamilton!

p.s. there was another earlier thread where someone asked if the home run derby winner's cards would spike or not ....

I change my answer to YES!

My favorite Home Run Derby ever, and the fact that it is at Yankee Stadium!
