<< <i>Goot I suggest you watch a few Ranger games including this last one. This sums up Michael Young' season even though he is improving. He is the highest paid field player on the team so I do not think he is the most overrated.
He just blew Josh Hamilton's chance to get 100 RBI's before the All Star break by swinging at a ball that couldn't reach in his dreams. >>
Way to look at the big picture.
He sucks because he struck out on a bad pitch? You've never seen another allstar do this?
Just think about this.....You traded Esteban Loaiza, who had one good season and other than that has been an average pitcher, for a 4 time all star(so far) with a .303 career batting average, who has finished high up in MVP voting 3 times, and has a career Fielding percentage higher than Derek Jeter..........be thankful for that trade.
Ok it wasnt an awful trade but I dont care how good his stats are or how many All Star games he has been to, he is overpaid and we have not gained any ground have we? We still have not made the playoffs with him on our team so I don't know how big of an impact he is making

Sadly, $6 million for an All Star SS is not overpaying.
Overpaying is the Red Sox paying Julio Lugo $9.25 million
