When a snipe goes horribly wrong.
    Garner psa 8
That's the first time I've ever put in the wrong price. I meant to put in $4.50.

I love this thread. I've never seen that Expos Coaches card. Most kids were disappointed seeing that one in their pack.
    Enjoy your collection!

Can anyone explain the Templeton PSA 10 that is on ebay for 2K and has been relisted. What is it maybe a $100 card?

If it were mine and someone offered a hundo it would be theirs.

Hey he's fishin. Dimitri will start collecting opc someday along with some other whales.

Imo I put the value at 250-500 store or show price retail. Ebay itd push 150-200 pending when ran a ending day failure would be in the 100 dollar range.

Thats whats nice about ebay for buying some folks on vaca, some just busy. Years down the road when some of these auction houses start listing some ofthese 70's, early 80's rarities watch out. Big money collectors dont have the time to search ebay they just wait for the seasonal catalouge.

For us small fries we just look at it as anything is a profit and more money to bust more product

Thnx man! I am so hooked on this set. Cant wait to complete it some day. Hope to have it 100% by this summer and will try and continue to upgrade with PSA 10's as I go along (as long as those PSA 10 prices are reasonable).

Great stuff, I ripped 10 more packs a few days ago. The quality of cards was not what the previous packs had, probably only 4 cards with a shot at 9 or better.

That is a big undertaking, but I wish you the best of luck. I finally called it quits on my '79 OPC set. Any ideas on the best was to sell an unfinished set like this?

    Jeff,

Take a week or two off you may be burned out. Ive sold partials in the past and had seller remorse in a big way. At times it seems like a task that'll never end. It will some big lots will show soon. Dealers are just now finding out that opc can be sold.

I've finally sorted and started my raw-binder set from my pack rips. Here is a list of what I need to finish, I would prefer EX-MT to NM (80/20 on front is good enough and back centering is not a concern). I have raw dupes to trade and some graded, or I'll buy them either way is fine.

    #'s 1,15,22,25,30,32,50,61,64,65,66,72,75,82,91,98,100,101,107,108,116,156,164,167,174,192,195,201,203,204,208,209,215,234,235,237,

Yeah just figured out how to post recently. I've definitely got OPC fever, but right now I'm concentrating on 73,76, and 79. I'm content to be an also-ran in 77 and 78 sets for now. As soon as work calms down, I'll have to do a bulk sub of raw cards, I've got a backlog of stuff from 71-80, plus all my McCoveys and Stargells.

Glad you mentioned it was an option tsalem, went back and noticed it was off, guess it was the default option. And no, I didn't bid on the 77s either. I got outbid on some 73s and 76s recently from unknown competition, so maybe I have a stalker hehe. I'm pretty much cutting back to 79s for awhile unless peeps keep putting up $3-4 graded 8s and higher. It almost seems like losing money not to bid on those.

Working on another good size sub which will include 50-60 opc 1977's

Gonna send some 76's in as well. Picked up a real nice lot of about 600 singles.
