Pulled and Popped..and RIP, or.. good gawd.. talk the stock market.

Why do those two words exist within the card collecting arena.

Pulled: "I pulled this card from a packette of baseball cardolios"

Popped: "My cards popped today, and this is what I gottage"

Are there 'tendencies' here within the card collecting industry most of us would not want to be engaged in or even discuss the existance of such activity ?

    ummm.. I think those terms would be be rated X and kept from any prime time TV, and/or straight p*rn.

    Some of you.. You sure ya'll ain't doin any form of subliminal messaging on this board ? Take it to your basement please.

    I dig cards. cards are the coolest. The dang stuff got me spending money with PSA, and I ain't rich. (?)

    Please assist in respecting the sports the cards represent and avoid using your controversial 'slang' terms.

    I really don't have the time, or I would amuse myself by taking very post from the OP, and seeing if I could make one worthwhile post out of all 33 of them. 3:1 you can't. How's the pot odds on that one CD?

    There is not one complete sentence that this dude ever wrote that makes sense to anyone in the world besides him. I would put the odds at roughly INFINTY:1.

    "I gently opened a pack of baseball cards and retrieved a special card from inside of the pack" vs. "I pulled a 1/1"

    "PSA has posted the grades for my baseball card submission on their website for my review" vs. "my grades popped"

    "I have a hobby box of baseball cards that I will open which contains 20 packs of baseball cards. I will then gently open each pack and scan the cards so you can see the cards that were contained in each pack" vs. "Live Rip"
