Well im working on putting books togeather for my 1yr old son, & i just bought 3 rolls of pennys got em today .. Went to a B-Day party for my son came home , an my sister is waiting in the drive way. We came in the house "i go to the kitchen get a bite to eat" then sit down to go threw my new rolls to cherrypick a few to put in my sons book's. Ok had 3 rolls well now i just have 1 roll she stoled them & will go to a store, spend them.... sad right? but whats more sad to hear? that she took em or that she will spend them at a store?

Saddest part is that you are upset enough over $1.00 to rat out your sister. It is also sad that $1 makes any kind of difference in her spending. Less sad is that she is a petty thief, possibly a habitual one. The good news is that it was $1, and not $500 or $5000 worth, and if she is indeed the thief, you now have some kind of warning as to what may be down the road and can avoid losing your entire collection to her and/or her friends.

I will assume before you spilled the beans on the forum you called your sister to ask where your pennies went.

It has been my experience with thiefs that she would have taken all 3 rolls and played dumb. Not 2 rolls and leave you to wonder.

If your sister did take the $1.00 in pennies and this is out of character for her. Maybe your family needs to find out
if she needs financial help.

In the future I would think twice before exposing a family member on this forum. Family business needs to stay family business.

I would feel ashamed if my only concern for my sister who aledgedly stole 2 rolls of pennies from me was the fact she was
going to the store to spend them..
