    I have a Capped Bust Quarter in PC 4 that I got 4 years ago that has more than doubled in price. It's an okay coin for the grade, but I woudn't pay the going rate for it now if I didn't have one and it was offered to me.

    I have whole collections of paper money and coins that I would no longer pay the current prices for. Colonial notes for instance. I collected them a lot when I was a kid and teenager, when they were not very expensive, but some of mine are now several hundred dollars each. And I have a lot of them.

    So is the consensus that the coin value will likely NEVER revert back to what he paid for it? Afterall it got to that price at least once.
