Cuesta Park in Mountain View, CA, is now freshly mowed!

As of yesterday, the 4ft high grass is gone! All that's left is dry, very dig-able soil. I've not been there at all since they mowed it, but I'm going out of town this weekend and want to let any local Bay Area folks know. I was openly detecting a few weeks ago with no problems, but I wasn't digging the lawn, just the wooded and field areas and the patches around the tennis courts.

    Used to live near there on Park Dr. Hehe, picni dinner with free music at the park during the summer wasn't bad at all. Any good finds there? Is that a historical park?
