AT or NT, the ten year mint set experiment, with pix

I put these various dates and denominations in a 1952 P Treasury Mint Set holder back in January of 1999, then stored them in a kraft envelope, in a desk drawer, here in So Cal. All were bright untoned white when this began, undipped and from original rolls. It seems the rate of toning has really accelerated over the past year or so. The cents were from the original mint set.

coins have an NT look to them.....10 years is slow enough to make them completely market acceptable even though we know you toned them on purpose

Intent... as agreed to years ago on this forum... is the key ingredient in assisted toning (again, I say assisted since it will occur both naturally and with acceleration). Artificial Toning may include the introduction of chemicals and conditions (not naturally encountered), producing vibrant colors in an accelerated time frame. So... although it appears you were experimenting.. the 'intent'... however innocent, makes the coins AT. Cheers, RickO
