New guy here
Hey all, I joined here because AZJack told me about it.
I hear he's pretty much famous here.
Anyways, about me, currently Im working in a grocery store, in the bakery, so I have 2 cash registers to look through - for coins and paper money
so far I havent found anything too great... a 1955-D Nickel, a series 1977 1$ note. and 2 star notes.
Except, I did find a 1964-D Dime

Many years ago I was a cashier and came across a few silver coins, and also blank planchets or planchet misstrikes when opening new rolls - makes the work a little more interesting!

In 1988 after my second military tour, I got a job in a grocery store, too. I worked in the meat department.
A distinguished looking man stopped at the counter one day and asked for "3 Rocky Mountain Oysters".
I carefully pulled 3 plump bull orbs from the tray and wrapped them. I weighed them, printed off the pricing label and affixed it to the package. I picked it up, handed them to the man and made the mistake of saying : "Well, it looks like you're having the "Odd Couple" over for dinner".
Welcome to the boards and realize.... Not everyone has the same type of humor.

A quick search turns up no one by that name. So, not famous here. Maybe across the street?
Welcome to the group anyway though. May you learn a great deal. May your posts be many and enlightening.

Anyways, I havent seen any Prez Dollars in Circulation, and I dont have any to hand out.
The only thing I've seen so far is a 2$ bill - which I switched out for because I like spending them
And yeah, I do have young eyes, Im 20 years old. lol
I've been collecting since I was 10 or so, but I started getting serious about it, around 2-3 years ago.
But I've always saved Wheat Cents, Pre-1960 Nickels and other things I've found in change since I was 10.
I also saved up a full roll of Bicentenial Quarters. haha.
edit: how can I get my own avatar on this site?
Typically I can figure it out, but this one seems kinda strange. lol
Oh, and welcome!
I'll wait until then!

I love that you said you've saved a whole roll of bicentennial quarters.
I'm 23 and have been collecting since about the same age (10 or 11 I'd guess).
I JUST completed my full roll recently! Doesn't mean much, but I thought it was cool
that I've only found 40 or so over 10+ years. Of course, wouldn't you know that I've
found about 4 or 5 since finishing the roll already!
Anyway, welcome again!
