To all the people that don't like the WTC coins I want you to think about this for a second.
History, despite its wrenching pain to us, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again.
Exactly what is that supposed to mean? It's not even a good rationalization for the sick fascination with mass murder. If you like the WTC coins, I want YOU to that about THAT for a second.
Q: Are You Printing Money? Bernanke: Not Literally
It means what happen to us on 9-11 is painful to all of us but we cannot change it. The coins to me makes me think about that and it makes me proud of this great country and our military for facing this enemy with courage so it never has to be relived again.

What a crock!! I simply don't believe you. Turn on the news - I'm sure you'll get a lift from the next disaster. If you wanted to honor the dead, or be proud of our troops, there's a gazillion other ways to do it.
Maybe someday you'll understand that we don't have the luxury of so lightly dismissing what happened on 9-11, but I'm not going to hold my breath waiting.

<< <i>I think EVERYONE should own one (I don't).......and EVERYTIME you look at it you REMEMBER what happened......REMEMBER the PEOPLE who died............show it to your kids, your grandkids and your neighbors.............We as Americans tend to forget the past!!!!! >>
that is what i have a problem with and why i'll never own one or even give one a second glance...relics are morbid

that is precisely the marketing strategy used by everyone from car dealers to coin dealers to pump their sales the day after the attack. "forget the past"? not likely and we'll likely never forget the cheesey quasi patriotism exhibited by anyone from furniture stores to politicians hoping to profit from the blood and gore.
those slabbed creep coins suck and with any luck will waterspot horribly in the cheap plastic holders
<< <i>It is indeed a bit grizzly but it sures beats the autographed "war hero' coins of Jessica Lynch. That one has always seemed to be a bunch of BS in my opinion. >>

Please check who wrote this quote it sounds like he was writting it in an attempt to stir things up its not me writting that quote above so please check facts before attacking me.
Also let this not be about good coins/bad coins let this be about " I remember this or that about the coins" I am getting a lot of PM's of people with real information about the NY State Quarter and some on the WTC coins that is what these post should be about not this mud slingging that do not get us anywhere.
