Arizona Quarter Launch?

Does anyone know - were there are are there going to be any special Arizona "launch" parties or celebrations in (Phoenix) Arizona where the quarter will be available for "purchase?"

My father told me he was able to get Wyoming quarters in Wyoming a week or so before they were available from the mint - or at least before the mint shipped mine (I'm on subscription program).

That sounds like a great activity to attend... especially for Arizona coin collectors. Cheers, RickO

I attended the Montana launch. It is worth the time if you can make it. I highly doubt I will be at another coin launch in my lifetime.

It looks like Sunday at the Carnegie Center in Pheonix at 3:00 - 4:30 is where the action is.

1.3Meg PDF file of the Tucson Coin Club newsletter giving the details.

My friend Tony Tumonis was on the selection committee. There are some neat pictures of the dies in the die holders included.
