One of the worst struck morgans I have seen in awhile. The cotton balls look like what would be on a xf coin. The color is ok to me neither a plus or a minus.
The coin looks original and appropriately graded with a decent strike although I have always experienced some difficulties when selling Morgans with similar toning. It is definitely original and not cleaned-retoned

At first I was thinking AU until I saw the slab... It's a beautiful coin never-the-less. One which would require INHAND observation without a doubt. Here's a PCGS MS-62 for comparison.

I like it a lot. That coin has some 'personality'. I do share the view, however, that coins with that type of toning are not real good sellers in the open market.
In hand it is quite a bit more lustrous...I can see why some would not like this particular type of toning, but I find this type of toning very attractive, even with the fingerprints. Thanks to everyone for your comments.
I think the strike is not that bad....I would say it is more unevenly struck...(with detail on the hair above the ear....but not clearly defined breast feathers on the reverse....that I can see anyway) I really love the original look!!!

<< <i>That old gal is not my type - mostly because of the "fingerprint toning". >>
I agree, too dark for my tastes, and I hate fingerprints.

This is the type of original toning that I truly enjoy.
Looks like a 64 to me.

It's kinda neat the way the fingerprint shapes the toning.
Nice coin.
