My weird Ebay auction experience....

I was bidding on a coin over the last week that ended last night....My max bid was beaten by $1.00....and the person that one the auction had 20 of the 30 bids that the coin received....including 7 that came after he was the highest bidder. Does that seem questionable???? I dont do too much with Ebay...but I REALLY wanted this coin. Any opinions???

If that was your max bid they just thought it was worth more to them, no problem.

How do you out bid yourself??? I have been the high bidder on an item and entered a higher bid so I wouldn't
lose it. But my bid price didn't change..Heck I just did it again on a PCGS Marine commem I'm bidding on now.

post your WTB on the BST with your amount you are willing to pay..I bought a proof Marine commem from
Mach19 just today with a simple WTB thread...You might be surprised what your fellow members will do for you.

I have never paid over what the average ebay price would be anyway. And I feel buying from a member
even if it is a few dollars more helps us all in the long run..Plus I don't have to worry about the scammers..

I found a Morgan on Ebay that had similar toning to another date I have....a look that I like and I went for it! But you are right...BST is a MUCH better resource!!

Yeah sounds like a sniping software...I've never used one but i understand how they work...come in at the last second to get the win.
