    How could a renowned metallurgist make such an amateurish mistake?
    Did he not do any nondestructive elemental tests on it? E.g. specific gravity, X-ray fluorescence (XRF), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS, EDX, EDXS or XEDS)
