I live sports, but I don't live and die by my team. I love pretty much every sport and don't hold anything against sports that many have a problem with. That's why I chose sports as what I want to do when I get older. As much as I've enjoyed the on field side of things, my focus since I was very young has been the front office and management side of things.

If the Braves, Rays, Bucs, etc. win, then it just makes the day a little better. If they don't, how'd Crawford and Chipper do? Did they atleast get a hit or two? Who do we play next?

i follow players more then teams when it comes to pro sports....i do LIVE and DIE by the OHIO STATE BUCKEYES FOOTBALL TEAM....and the last few years ive been slowly dying image
  • When I am competing for a team or on their payroll I will devote everything I can to them. Until that happens again no team is "my" team

No offense to some of you devoted fans, but this board seems like a perfect example of that. The proportion of Red Sox Fans is way out of the norm here. I think the braves get a lot of it too. We have a lot of people that claim to be fans, but are not knowledgeable at all, they just root for them without actually following them.

I hate that crap Bigfische. A kid walked into the football locker room the other day with a Braves shirt on. I asked him what he thought about Smoltz going to the pen. He replied with something like "I think it's a good move since he was doing so bad in the rotation." What an idiot.

I'm gonna question that kids fanhood one of these days....image

The only things that really bother me about my teams when they fail are 1) absolutely stupid "what are you thinking" bad decisions; and 2) really bad choke jobs.
