    I keep getting JJ in early position and manage to take down small pots uncontested. For those that play poker regularly, this is a good omen.

    2nd break, I have 9000 in chips which is a little below average. 110 more people to the money but I got my eye on the prize.

    VIto, I actually only deposited enough to play the FTOPS. I never win on tilt so I don't even bother with cash games or sng's.

    Yeah, I never win on FTP either - combine that with the fact that I was going to load up on a parlay with New Orleans +7.5 and the Over (182), it's turning it to a bad night.

    Heh, after the 2 calls I was thinking I needed an 8. i was elated to see both had pocket 6s. Neither of them had any reason to call my raise but I'm glad they did.

    You're looking good, but man, Pokerstars has the tackiest sound I've heard since 1980 - thats like Commodore 64 stuff.

    I turn off the sounds on all the poker sites. The noises bother me. Plus I like to watch TV while I play.

    I'm calling my shot now-- if you get dealt the 8c 4c you must push immediately. Trust me on this one. This is a hand with mystical powers-- so much so that I actually paid to have it tattooed on my right deltoid in the fall of '99.

    Done and done Boo. I'm a sucker for stupid inclinations. Do I have to push immediately or can I make a standard raise preflop then call a reraise?

    My results have been mixed when I've called big raises with this hand, but when I've done the raising myself and been called by a group 1 or group 2 hand the 84c is the absolute nuts.

    In case nobody believes me about the tattoo: Me and the ink! .

    boo, did you ever find the Chimay at world market? i picked up another good one there this week. Schafly reserve barley wine style ale. VERY NICE!

    When I met 'eyebone' (another CU poster) at the Toronto show a few years ago he more or less said the same thing-- in so many words, he said he didn't picture me looking so sleazy. I have a haircut now, so I don't look quite so marginal, but I still do dress like a homeless man.
