<< <i>and concerned about your post count apparently! and your not a potential buyer because a)you would have merely asked for a scan in your first post instead of the guff and b) I wouldn't sell it to you! >>
Hmm. I'm just responding to the posts.
Yes, I am/was a potential buyer. Just because I didn't ask for a scan doesn't mean I'm not interested. I may be interested a little bit later, or I may have to assess the situation based on comments in this thread.
Why wouldn't you sell it to me? There are a lot of people on here who would be willing to sell me their coins. I may be obnoxious, but I do pay on time, and usually at quoted prices.
<< <i>my set registry for type coins is number 6 and my secondary set is number 18. Where is yours Paul? Can we see the scans of your fabulous coins?
>>
WOW, you seem to have a qualifications of being an expert numismatist, were you dealer at one time? >>
NO PAUL, I am just a grading expert with 44 years of collecting experience and a love for type coins!
I have three ALL TIME FINEST sets registered as well but who cares if I don't scan, can't scan and don't have a "policy" on my hobby right?
I just put in the dime and the time Paul that's all and really enjoy history and coins for fun.slam on if you need to,I'm good and can take it plus it pushes the coin to the top as someone noted!
>>
I thought you already have offers and there is no need to push this thread to the top.
<< <i>I don't think I've ever seen a more ridiculous thread than this.
I agree with the OP. Either you're a potential buyer or not. If not, then you have no business critiquing his sales methods. If you are, then take the deal or leave it. Why all the drama? >>
The drama is with Marz's replies. His posts appear to have the attitude that "I'm not a dealer. I don't have to play by the rules. Tough luck"
<< <i>All I have to add is the following: Marz said that this type of selling is done on ebay all the time, and guess what, that is what I HATE about ebay, and what I like about the BST is the sense that there will be friendly and safe encounter without any pressure or stress about having to keep a coin because the SELLER not the dealer doesn't have a return policy; and guess what RYL is right when he says that return policy is solely up to Marz the SELLER not the dealer but guess what I think he is foolish for handling his transaction in this manner and it makes me think that I will be forced to do the same thing when I get his coin in the mail and agree that I can do better and upgrade it once I sell it without a return policy and the beat goes on. >>
I didn't event the plastic game I just have to work within it for collecting like many of us do. You know this.
live each day like it's your last but don't count on it!
<< <i>Why would you criticize the value of someone else's collection when you've already admitted that you need to sell the coin above just to buy another? Money should be no object for you, since you're a high and mighty "registry" collector, eh? OH, I get it: Buy/sell the holder. The coin is just filler. >>
it "was" a filler for me!
The history of the two trolls is deserving of my criticism! That's why! And I wrote the facts! they are not interested in coins unless they are th square root of 1/12th greysheet bid or $48 whichever is lower~

considering the same penniless, knowledge free Starbucks dishwashers comment on several of my threads you are correct! That is basically how I feel Mike! You would too given common sense and the same history and PMs with these clowns~ it's purely entertainment at this point! Good coins sell themselves regardless of "policy" and your idea of my personality. Just a guess,if we had a beer at a coin show you would feel differently about me and me you~ I am not pushing this to the top Mike just responding to the silly and inane comments! i was offered $1750 for the coin if it does get the full $1800. why don't you post some scans of your coins for us to enjoy! I promise not to criticize them!
Mike, the same guys who slammed me for not having a scan then slammed the scan! I have nothing to loose here for the entertainment!

I wish you didnt sell cleaned and corroded coins as problem free.
With your top of the line type set collections I would imagine you're among the elite here, and could tell a corroded and cleaned coin from a mile away.
If you do business with MARZ have a return policy, its that simple.

you are rather insane if you think this coin is either cleaned or corroded. and no doubt your one of the penniless above who said you have to see a coin to grade it! if you have issues with NGC's grading feel free to call them and explain your whine!

Not this coin, that I know of. I know of at least two people who got burned by you. Once again, if you do Business with MARZ ask if he has a return policy, this is a public service announcement.

you are a liar! either cough up the names or have them come on here to validate your false claim. No one has been burned by me and no one will come on here to support your slander?
let's hear it.....who got burned? where are they? Attempting to impair my sales is slander and you can be liable in civil court for this without proof... proof you will NOT provide!

Really? Both Legend and Anacs said this coin was corroded and cleaned, "problem free" in your BST CU listing, you ARE a type coin specialist, right?
A relative newby like me trusted such an experienced numismatist such as yourself and didn't bother to ask about a return policy, I feel its a good thing to warn your future customers to establish a return policy when buying your coins, especially when presented with less than stellar images.
