I had to use Matlab in my engineering courses. It's basically a program/language that manipulates functions and algorithms to create user specific "programs" tasked for various means.

    I'm glad I went pre-med instead.

The contest will close tonight at 10:00 P.M. Eastern Time. At that time I will generate the winning number and then assign a place within the final set to each winner for the final drawing.

I have also decided to sweeten the pot. The winner will now get these wonderful cards as well....

I am defintely not smart enough to understand the rules except that I should pick a number between 1 and 7. I don't get all that other stuff. I will thus go with #3 in honor of Steve Sax.

Ballots are now locked. Give me a minute to run my random number generator then I will come back with the winning number and order of remaining contestants.
  • DrJDrJ Posts: 2,213
After Running my random number generator, the winning number is 6!

Based on your order of submission I have now assigned a number for each member who chose 6:

    1 – Heritage Addict
    2- Metal Mike
    3- David Puddy
    4 – Big Fische
    5- BunchOBull
    6- TheDutyMon
    7- leathtech
    8 – thenavarro
    9- Beck6
    10 - Nightcrawler

I will now run the random number permutator on the set 1:10, and whoever's number falls in element (1,1) will be the ultimate winner.

    Stay Tuned!
