I would also suggest getting a 'wall detector'... Garrett's makes a nice hand held unit. Would help in case there are any 'larger' cache's ... Cheers, RickO

We often hear of coins of all sorts having been found inside walls. HOW DO THEY GET THERE?

Hey Ken, I might be able to answer the "How do they get there?" question regarding stuff inside walls. My daughters back door has a bad habit, thanks to thoughtless people, of crashing into the adjoining wall. Eventually, the inside door knob will break through the sheet rock, leaving a nice hole about 2 inches in diameter. I can tell you for a fact that there are an amazing amount of objects, most larger than 2 inches in diameter, that a small boy can shove through those holes! Amongst the normal things you'd expect, like matchbox cars, he's stuffed carrots, whole sandwiches, car keys, silverware and other assorted goodies in there. My daughter can now cut out and replace sheet rock in her sleep. Oh yeah, she has those nice door knob protectors attached to her wall, does nothing but look good til it, too, punches through the wall. image
