On that note a seller cannot accept Paypal and not accept Paypal credit card payments.

It looks like ebay is heading towards a store/merchant shopping format instead of their traditional auction format. It makes sense because both ebay and sellers would get guaranteed profit on every sale not the fluctuations most sellers see right now. Do you really think Target, Walmart etc. will really want variable profit?

Also I look for ebay to make it much tougher on those people with traditional auctions that will compete with their new "big" sellers. I predict that these sellers will pay a big fee to have all their stuff up front and it will take about 40 clicks in the future to get to the traditional auction material otherwise you will have to wade through 30 pages of target and walmart stuff before finding the one guy selling a used toaster instead of new ones.
