Picked up this 1981 Mint set from a local Flea-Market dealer for $7.00. The SBA Dollar is sealed in with the Kennedy Half.

    Pretty cool find. Not bad for $7 considering it has $4.82 face value in coins.

    the barrier between the kennedy spot and SBA is intact?

    ive seen plenty where the barrier isn't sealed and the coins fall thru

    Considering it is a 1981 with all three SBAs, I say $7.00 is a great deal. I'd pay that all day long.

    Why are there 3 SBA's?

    I know there is a type I and type II but usually that is something that does not come out at the same time on purpose?

    Because there're only two Kennedy's silly! image

    Edited: The 1981-P, 1981-D and 1981-S "circulated" strikes were only available in the Mint sets. The -S was also produced in Proof and two varieties exist (blob or filled S and clear S)

    Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
    Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
