I don't know what cinman14's problem is, all I will say is fivecents has handled this in a very professional manner. Unless you have bought from fivecents you don't know the whole story.

The OP offered the coins at $135. The offer was accepted by coll3ctor for 3 coins. The OP reneged and upped the price. Unless he placed restrictions on the quantity offered at $135 in his initial offering, he was technically obligated to fulfill the offer accepted by coll3ctor for the 3 coins if he had them available (which he did). But for sure this is not the first time someone welched on a BST deal.

Can't see how anyone can fault fivecents here considering the market for this coin. Offers were flying in so fast and furious, the price adjustment responded in kind. As it was, he lost a lot of money selling these at the price he did.

How does sending a PM to the OP mean a locked in deal? The person sending the PM has no idea where he is in line. If the OP confirmed via PM reply then changed the price after that it would be bad but I dont see that as the case here.

It's very simple -- if you offer a coin at a certain price, someone accepts the offer, and you still have the coin, then technically you are obligated to sell the coin at that price. If you change the price after the offer is accepted, then you welched on the offer.

coll3ctor...you are a BIG BABY! Nothing was confirmed. I wouldn't sell your whinning a$$ a coin for all the tea in China. KMA!

Connecticoin...no offer was accepted. The price increases for this coin daily. You are clueless to market conditions and the coin business. What business is this of yours anyway. You have made no offers on these coins, you just post to my thread to cause trouble, you TROLL.
I have sold a huge ammount of these coins to PCGS board members. Everyone is EXTREMELY pleased with my prices and quick shipping. PLEASE STAY OUT OF MY BUY, SELL & TRADE THREAD WITH YOUR BS!!

    Mr 5c . . . real professional response there.

You never said quantities were limited or prices were subject to change, and you still don't. Market conditions do not excuse your un-business like behavior. Offer was made by you and accepted by the so-called "whining a$$" so a contract was made, and he had a legitimate beef, plain and simple.

Connecticoinboy....According to your twisted logic, if I sell a 1961 proof set on the BST for $12 and I get 100 people wanting the set for $12 I an supossed to sell every 1961 proof set in my collection for $12? Give me a break. It is my right to sell a coin at current market value. You are losing alot of respect from other fellow board members by sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. Reread the thread and see for yourself. I am not going to be the least bit professional with an clueless AH like you who comes in to a BST thread just to start $hit.

Yes, it is basic contract law of offer and acceptance. If you have the 100 proof sets, and you offer them at $12, then yes, you are obligated to sell to all those who accept your offer, up to the 100 you have. It is like if you offered all 100 on Ebay for a $12 BIN, and 100 buyers hit the BIN, you are obligated to sell them. Pretty simple, but I guess you have a hard time understanding that.

More name calling -- real mature there Mr. 5c.

    << <i>More name calling -- real mature there Mr. 5c >>

Just as mature as you coming into my thread to start crap, you TROLL!
Connecticoin.......My BST thread has been one of the most popular selling threads on the PCGS boards and you come in here starting crap about something that happened weeks ago and I did nothing wrong. I raised the price from $135 to $180 all of $45 dollars. After I raised my price I ended up with around 50 PM's....yes 50 friggin PMs, wanting these coins for $180. Many buyers were dealers who were probably going to flip them or get them graded and flip them.
Your good buddy board member "coll3ctor" started whinning for no reason. He publicly stated he would never sell another coin to me ever again. Which is fine by me, because the coins I bought from coll3tor were scratched and the shipping he provided was very slow.
Eveyone I sold a coin to was to confirm to deal by PMing me their shipping address. Your boy board member "Coll3tor" and myself never got to the confirmation part of the deal. He has no legs to stand on.
I guess $180 isn't looking like such a bad deal right now is it boys?image

Fivecents -- I did not come here to start crap -- I wanted to clarify the concept of offer and acceptance with you, which you refuse to comprehend. Fine, I will stop posting to this thread, unless you persist with the baseless name calling or anything else directed at me which I would be compelled to respond to.

Congrats on your success with these, and best of luck with you future cherrypicking endeavors.

You, Sir... do NOT tell the truth and are a very foul person. I had made ONE public comment about your reneging on the deal and you seem to want to keep dragging this out by calling me names. I also have never had the pleasure of communicating with forum member Connecticoin but he seems like a very level person. It's time to put this one in the past and move on..... This will be my final reply to your silly ***.
