On the colored glass..I am not really sure since I don't have a full bottle, but it came from the same place the piece of onion bottle did and it has the colors of old glass from the colonial period and that style neck.....On the onion bottle bottom piece, that is a glass form the colonial period here in Georgia...there is a lot of that in local museums. Here is an example of one on eBay:
The bottom bottle is a piece of onion glass...made in the 1700-1750's...So that is best indicator. Both pieces were found in the same area. I have seen colonial glass like the top one.
