First day back in Colorado...A good day too!

My wife and I left Arizona last Saturday and arrived home in Colorado on Sunday April 13th. Today was the first day I had a chance to check out the ole detector......I stopped for only 20 minutes on my way home from getting our car worked on. I went to a sandy playground I hadn't checked for five months.

GOLD!!!!!!!!!


I found this mans 10K gold ring after about ten minutes. The stone appears to be black onyx

I also found this gold colored heart shaped pendent with the name Karina etched on it.

My next find was this little silver heart shaped pendent.

Finally, I found 60 cents.....
(4) dimes
(2) nickels
(10) pennies.
My last find today was a Mexican 50 Pesos coin.

It is great to be back in Colorado again....Heck, I may go hunting again tomorrow.....MDH

    Wow!!! What a welcome back home, huh? Gold and Silver!!! Very nice jewelry finds--especially like the ring. Only 20 minutes of hunting??? That is a great haul for an hour or two and you get it in 20 minutes. Outstanding!!!image

    That is a nice looking ring. Black onyx and gold always looks sharp. Gotta get an emory cloth or whatever the jewelers use and shine up that gold. Really nice finds 'hound!

    crispy.....Taking the ring to a jeweler to have it cleaned and polished is a good idea. Maybe I will have it sized and wear it. I think I would rather sell it...lol MDH
