Putting it another way, what sport has participants that have the least amount of intelligence?

That is actually a totally different way. No sport requires very much intelligence at all. Something like women's gymnastics might have participants with the lowest intelligence level, simply because 16-year-olds tend to be less intelligent than 26-year-olds who dominate other sports. . .
I don't know Lee, I'm guessing a surprising percentage of players in certain sports would struggle keeping score in bowling. Those strikes and spares can get confusing at times.
Shane
Steve
Soccer, just run back and forth and DONT EVER SCORE
The sport with participants that have the least amount of intelligence has to be Heavyweight Boxing. This has nothing to do with getting hit repeatedly in the head over and over and over again. I'm talking money! They fight once a year for millions and millions of dollars and then spend the rest of the year challenging everyone else. If they were smart, they would stop all the talking and fight about five times a year and make five times the money!!!
College football players come in a close second. They get full ride scholarships to college, play a game and then complain, because they aren't getting a chunk of the money that college football brings in. I guess they forgot the part when they signed their name that they are getting a free education when everyone else is paying thousands and thousands of dollars for it.
<< <i>I agree with the Great Cornholio.......Track requires the least intelligence. You just run! They even give you hints......start at a line, run to a line, stay in between two lines!

No, they aren't getting a 'free' education. They're playing football in exchange for an education. And while this is probably a fair exchange for some players, I can guarantee you that certain guys-- like Tebow, or McFadden-- are worth far, far more to their university than the price of the tuition waiver.
One more thing......when I said free, I'm talking money! They may accept the honor of a scholarship to play football, but they pay no money out of their own pocket to get their education.

Don't you mean run back and forth, fall down alot, whine and cry
like a 3 year old, AND don't ever score.

You could say the same about Clinton Portis and football.
I go with short distance sprinting.
