Tizofthe makes appology to the board!

OK after a great amount of thought and much needed rest. I have decided to swallow my pride and make an apology to the board. After talking with my wife she tends to agree with most of the board members that I may have acted rude and unjustified in stating my opinion to some of the board members. To state my point I was asking for directions (not filth by...well you know who you are) as to "what does ttt" mean, and make an attempt to consolidate my post. I went as far as stating to the moderator that I am trying to do what the rules state but unable to delete. A member gave me instruction on how to do this and either it did not work (multiple times) or it is not possible. I made additional post without checking to see if the deletions were in effect. This as you can imagine made everyone else more pissed off then what they originally were because now I had more post. Why in the world would anyone try to tick off the board members that help me during the last 6 years? |Hum let’s see, maybe because I was board? Some of the board members need to take responsibility themselves and stop playing god. Everyone is entitled to make errors etc without being jumped on and asking for certain members to be banned. Who in the hell do you think you are. Anyway I meant no harm and I am very thankful to the members that have helped me over the years and want to thank all the members that have purchased from me to date. I know you will enjoy your items as much as I have over the past 6= years

Troy, I apologize if I cause you any harm.

What I will say is that one of the first things I look at when I notice members post multiple threads is whether the member is a newbie.
Most of the time a PM to a newbie is all it takes.

This is not the case here I believe.

Next is how the member reacts to being told he is breaking some forum rules.
Is the reply humble and apologetic, or is it pompus & 'I don't care'

The former is usually forgiven & all is well with the world.
The latter tends to get flamed & the swarm forms.

Some would call us 'forum police' or worse!
But if you've been here long enough you know that low-level rule enforcement is the membership.
After that, then the moderators get involved. Not something I'd like to see.

Anyway, thanks for the thread (even if it's technically OT).

How any more times do we need to say it.....
Replying to your thread is the same as a TTT.

If you have TTT your thread already, PM any replies.

I really am wondering if you truely understand this?

Ajia, you self appointed forum police officer, did you not buy this on
ebay and the evidence was exposed because you were too lazy to take a "my ebay auctions link" from your sigline when none existed?

I know, I know "but if everyone did it,there would be big problems ET!!!"
fact is hardly anyone does it including those who do it on purpose totals maybe 5 times a week.
I know! I was hammered about it simply for interfacing with someone with questions about "real" coins I posted for sale.
Augies ok.at least he buys stuff but most who give the jabs buy nothing from anyone and are full of rule fetish bologna~
considering the real problems facing us and the World slack would seem in order.

he called you lazy! What's your body fat percentage Augie?
its the tell tale of his judgment!
    hopefully,he is incorrect!

.9999999998% of people on here could care less about "TTT"s

which means something entirely different to Ramly T-204 1910 card collectors you know!

So I guess everyone that replied to this thread represents 0.0000000002% of the membership.

a039, since you like links, showing your true colors HERE?

There was certainly an interesting shift in tone between the opening half of the apology and the latter.
  • Thank you a039 and marz for those post about my dad.

He has tried to teach my brother and me that there are reasons for rules.
He told me about not writing anything on my thread for a day and i didn't.
Now I guess that doesn't really matter and he was wrong.

I did not enjoy that link.

I thnk I would rather create art than collect coins, nicer people.

    Thanks agian, Amanda

Thanks 'Big Mark' for that, you certainly are a big man! image
And that body fat comment sure impressed my daughter.

As for being a forum police, we all may interprete the comment differently, but when SM1 said, "I was hoping against all hope that this board could be selfpolicing without the necessity of the mods having to constantly monitor.", I interpreted that to mean he was talking about the board as a whole and not individuals.

    Maybe I was wrong.
    Maybe individuals should be 'selfpolicing'.

This is my last comment on this thread about me.

'Big Mark' if you'd like to continue bashing me you can do so over at the Refuge Forum, as you have before.
At least I'll be in good company with all the other folks bashed over there.
