Hampton has become even more worthless than Pavano. Will either one of these guys ever pitch in the big leagues again?

<< <i>I heard this was his first start since 05 but pulled his boobie while warming up. >>
Si senor.
You know you're snakebit when you're warming up for the first time in 3 years and you hurt something that you have never seriously hurt before!!
I still think the Zito signing will go down as the worst EVER, he's DONE and he's got what, 6 or 7 years left at 19 mil per?
What a waste.

collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
<< <i>remember when the team I root for signed Wayne Garland to a huge contract and he won maybe 20 games for them the rest of his career... >>
The difference is when Garland was pitching contracts were still artificially below market value. The Kansas City Royals could sign higher priced free agents and make the World Series. Now a bad contract can destroy a franchise for a decade
After his last start it looks like Zito does have a chance to be even worse than Hampton. But it is still unlikely, last year he was 11-13 for the second worst hitting team in baseball. That is still far better than who ever would replace him if he were on the DL for three years like Hampton
Pavano is still a much better deal than Darren Dreifort and Chan Ho Park, especially after adjusting for inflation
