Nothing at the Walmart or Target in my area. I know retail normally comes out a few days later, but since I had to pick up some other stuff I figured I'd take a peek at the card section.
Not that I have the money for a whole hobby box, but I also stopped by the local "card" store to see if he had any packs in. However, his selection still sucks (loose packs of Bowman, topps, turkey red, topps chrome) so I didn't get anything there either. I might make the drive later to see if the only good card shop in my area has any in yet.
These boxbreaks on here and the beckett boards are getting me anxious!
Now get this you guys will like this. he opened a case and on top of the case was an autographed poster of david wright #d to 8. a full poster that was folded up. wait till these hit the ebay. should bring a ton of coin.

Man, these breaks have all been pretty hot. nam and joestalin get 2 rips, ssdawg77 gets all kinds of ink and a plate, and joestalin gets a Billy Mitchell Auto (which is going to do well once gamers find out about it. Every one of my game industry friends I tell has been all "I MUST HAVE ONE!").
I don't know if Topps loaded up the initial shipments or what, but this is making me want to bankrupt myself buying 08 A&G. There are worse ways to ruin your credit, right?

Had to go out of town early this morning. By chance found a card shop that had just got a case in. They wanted $149 per box or three boxes for $400. I wanted them so bad I almost got them.

Made the 20 minute drive with my brother to the card shop and when I walked in, I not only saw a sign for it, but saw 2 guys opening up boxes right on the counter! I only planned on opening a few packs, but I got caught up in the moment and before I knew it I was handing the shop owner my debit card.....$98 after tax. Me and my brother barely made it home without opening the box!
