Have I been reading about this right in they have yet to hit "Walmarts" etc on the East Coast. I can easily hide $40-$60 to Walmart on the Credit Card but not my local shop...

I found an invoice in a beckett box at walmart...it listed both A&G blister packs and blaster boxes, neither were in the two huge
boxes that I found. It had them listed as a late July release. I wonder if the cut numbers had anything to do with it....anyone here
get any of their retail orders?

I'm probably going to buy a case of blasters from Lockwood, and he told me he "should" have them on Friday. I will let everyone know on Friday afternoon if that is the case or not.

I know retail wasn't great for hits last year, but since we all know I'd buy around 16 blasters (maybe more) locally anyway over the next month, $210 is better than $350 at Target and WalMart after tax.

BunchOBull: I'm amazed she was in even with you when you did it. Mine makes a beeline for the clothing or school supplies (she's a teacher) before I'm halfway to the "aisle of shame."

And you know it's the aisle of shame, because it's the only one fully visible from the registers. If Target sold pr0n, it'd be just to the right of the blaster display.

That is the only way to secure both the product and the product un-tampered with. If you rip open large boxes with the yellow tape you will
have a much more fun rip. I spend ALOT of money at my local target, so I feel that I am entitled to open these boxes. If you really do feel
bad, go ahead and stock the shelves while you are at it, a target employee will thank you!

I was embarassed at the National. My girlfriend who ripped her first pack ever with my A&G case. As we were going throught the 12 boxes I expalined pack searching. She bought 5 packs to rip at the national. After ripping the packs 2 of the 5 packes contained Jersey cards. I asked her if she searched and she said "Well I looked for the biggest ones"

I told her not to do that anymore!

Well, I just busted another case, probably my last, I got really killed, 3 autos and only one rip and one silk. I did get some really nice
minis including a complete shark set, mantle and pujols blacks, a few no numbers, and two team orange. My bazooka-less streak is
no over 3 cases....that is a record that no one here can beat!

Needless to say I am loaded on minis, Ill hope to put them in list form soon. Silk was Bannister and Rip was Rolen, if anyone is intersted,
I might be ripping the Rolen soon.

I have covered a LOT of Walmarts and Targets. Every one has their new stock in, but there was a big hole on the shelves where someone obviously cleaned out one product. Many stores have individually packaged A&G. I learned my lesson after buying that garbage. I'll leave it on the peg boards. I have seen no sign of regular old retail.


I finally found blasters at a Walmart today. I've only opened two of them. So far, I've pulled a black border Joey Chestnut, a piloted glider, one world leader and five A&G backs.

does anyone still have the 10% off ebay coupon? the one that was posted way back in this thread for july did work but i assume only in july. Hmmm....$210 - 25% - 10% = $137 for 16 blasters = $8.50/blaster.

By the way, does anyone have a complete relics checklist?

I've driven to my three local Wal-Marts and Targets (Northeast Ohio, Akron/Canton area) every day for the past week and a half... nothing. I'm actually getting tired of looking. I asked two of the Target managers, and they said their trading cards get stocked by an outside company, and that woman is on vacation until this Friday, so I'm assuming they'll pop up then (locally). Maybe, maybe not. I've never seen the "empty spaces" where the boxes could have been, so I don't believe they were ever there. The A&G "coming soon" sign is still up too.

long day at funeral home today,funeral tomorrow,then i can see a family feud coming with my brother and law going to the hospital with some teeth missing-so if im not on tomorrow evening- i probably went to jail again my stupid sister and him think they are gonna move in with mom, and she said thats not happening-they are goldbrickers big time
i stay at funeral home with mom all day today,they left after about a hour,and when i got mom home they were drunk on the back porch havin a big ol time- i didnt say anything because of mom- most of you know im not too bashful so ill wait till after the funeral tomorrow but ill strike tomorrow- theres a time and place for everything, that wasnt the time or the place- i whomed my wifes brother once years ago- might as well get this side of the family too

6 blasters still in the box with yellow tape at the local target last night, someone had already opened them so I didn't feel too bad looking through them. Looks like someone pulled out the regular retail boxes and searched them as 1 pack was missing from each. They also had blasters of goudey.

Looking at the wrappers, the odds are all the same except for your regular autos and relic which are close to 2x harder to pull, but the dna relics and cut autos have the same odds. It looks like Rip, Wood, Plates, and Cloth are Hobby only.

No, I wasn't counting on relics, although traditionally the early blasters have been pretty loaded. What kills me is 70 packs and not a single short print mini.

NW Ohio here, and my local Wal-Mart had 2 boxes left.

I dunno about SP's and stuff but I got 3 Minis w/ the A&G Backs, 1 Blackborder, 1 shark, 1 world leader.

I got 7 of the thick state cards, a battle card, and a card with a piece of some swimmer's trunks I guess.

I don't know if I did any good or not but it's neat stuff. (I'm sticking to Heritage)

I'll trade for any Cincy Reds if I have what anyone needs, PM a list if interested.

Just got back from my local Target with the 2 blasters they had left. They also had a couple of retail boxes, but I didn't bother because I got there and caught a pack searcher in the act.

No joke, he had some sort of measuring gadget and was examining the width, height, etc of each pack.

I walked up to him as he was starting the second box and said, "Hey, can I get some packs from THAT box before you search 'em?!"

He didn't say a word, handed me the box, and left when I grabbed four packs. I don't know if my outgoing hello startled him or what, but he was gone in a flash. I put the packs back and settled for the blasters.

What did I get? No hits, but the minis were decent: Great White Shark, JR Towles Bazooka #11/25, and a Gordon Brown world leader. Along with a few SP minis.
