Ebay Best Offer Question

Hypothetical question: Say I am selling a coin on ebay with a buy-it-now of $100. I have best offer enabled, then someone offers $50. I counter $75, but then I get an offer for $85 from another bidder. Can I accept the $85 before the initial bidder responds, or am I "locked-in" to the $75 offer until bidder 1 responds?
