Poll: Has Collecting coins caused you to wear eyeglasses?

I as b/c since searching thru a hoard of lincoln cents, I think my eyes are going bad.

    At first I want to say yes............

    But my eyes have been going since I hit forty..

    Now that I'm fifty I can't read a date without reading glasses .............

    I am a doctor (eye) and what you do with your eyes does not affect your prescription or the way it changes over time.

    I don't get the part about the Ramada Inn. What am I missing?

    Maybe. Before I collected coins, my vision was 20/20. Now, I'm nearsighted in my left eye. Coincidence?

    you may not notice poor eyesight if you are not trying to look at small details
    and collecting coins brings that out fast

    Because of these boards, I spend all day staring at the computer.

    IMHO it's easy to get visually fatigued with the internet age of this hobby... I like to call it LCD burnout! image

    Would love to blame it on coins or news papers but I think the almost 61 years has more to do with it. BTW even when I had good eyesight I used a loupe.

    Nope. I've probably searched through 500,000+ Pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves and dollars since 2003 and my eyes are stronger then ever. Although I think I've developed carpel tunnel syndrome from holding so many small objects for extended periods of time.

    I would like to blame it on coins but the reality is that I'm well over 50 and that it is just part of life.

    When I hit 51 my eyes got weaker. Now ALL women look beautiful to me. Coins look shinier. Life looks rosier.

    I can't wait to wear adult diapers.

    Mama told me it'd make me go blind, never did believe her . . . Until Now!
    Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
    Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
