Original mint luster on a VF30 DBH? You bet!

Check out the luster still present on this DBH in a video I made for youtube. How often do you guys see luster on a VF30 coin?

I think with your coin, it's a matter of a higher graded coin that was penalized for a weak strike.
Giving the appearance of a worn coin with luster.
Looks like a nice coin. You might want to consider resubmitting it someday.
<< <i>Your video is cool! The MS63 Seated half looks very frosty. It's also rather interesting to hear your voice because you sound to me like you are either from Canada or the upper mid-west.
Good guess Tom...Chicago here. I have 5 other videos that I made around the same time if you really liked that one. Just look for geckster109.

I completely agree that it was penalized for the strike. However, I am quite happy with it at VF30, and its hard for me to see it going any higher. Even with the strong eye appeal from the rim toning.
