Yep, I'm reading this now for the first time, and I feel it's going over most people's heads. The idea is to find the least valuable card that was ever slabbed by PSA. In other words, probably any modern card from the late 80s or early 90s, ideally a common card, with the lowest PSA grade possible.
The Ozzie Smith card doesn't qualify because it has some value due to it being a rookie card. The Ralph Houk card doesn't qualify because it has some value due to its age. Same with the Berra. Even the Baines 89 UD card doesn't necessarily quality (although it is close) because you could argue that 89 Upper Deck, being the first set, has some value. The Ozzie SLU card has some value due to its rarity.
The closest example so far would be the Freddie Lynn 86 Donruss.
Well, this may not qualify either since it's a PSA 9, which is pretty good and would actually have value due to the grading fees and age for someone trying to do a set. Now, that cards as a PSA 3 might qualify
