This is a what if:

What if the Government shut down the buying of silver...due to National Security Reasons. Have you ever thought about it in these terms? If we do have a stock pile somewhere, silver bought could be laundered for other purposes and wind up in hands of non friends....I believe in our Countries Condition it could be to our benefit that all production of silver and gold be halted....Just a thought!

There's only one way for that to happen and I don't think Obama or Billary are going to get elected. But if it did I would hold onto mine until they elected another Jackass image

" What if the Government shut down the buying of silver...due to National Security Reasons."

This just doesn't make sense to me; neither gold nor silver is a "strategic mineral."

P.S. I don't know who the Democratic nominee will be, but I know he/she will be the winner in November.

    Wanna bet?

Neither of them is electable nationwide.

McCain is the lesser of three evils. At least he isn't going to raise our taxes, your favorites have both promised to and they both think if you make 75K you are rich.

If any candidate from either party promised to close the border once and for all, they'd win in a landslide.

Since neither of the remaining three want to do that, it comes down to national defense and taxes, hence McCain wins and fairly easily.

No, he wasn't my first choice by a long shot.

    I agree.

  • Does it really matter if it is taxes or the Feds printing paper...one way or the other your paying for it...if you want to call it taxes fine if you want it to be call devaluation, ression or depression have at it...but when it comes down to it, it does not matter...We want the right person to correct our downward spiral...maybe the Newly Discovered money from Iraq, which has been in the United States for nearly 6 years will give the UNITED STATES a REFUND!

7 million troy ounces = 291.67 troy tons = (at todays rate) 17.11 x 7,000,000.00 = $119,770,000.00 in Silver....not to much Moneywise in relation to the debt! Actually I would call 7 Million troy ounces of Silver a shortage! Some of the Silver Eagles have a larger mintage in that in one year.

What does the stockpile of Gold look like!

If McCain can be his own man and not follow the last 8 years and turn this country around then he has my vote...we have until November to see what transpires with the Three of them...I know the one I will not vote for and that is a for sure!

I think the Democrats will be shocked at the large number of Democrats that cross over to vote for McCain this November.

As there is no real blue collar/silent majority candidate running,

but MaCain will be viewed as the lesser evil by most working folks.

image unless the Democrats can quickly clean things and present the nominee soon.

McCain has a lot of time to travel the world speaking with heads of state and securing important support from around the world.
Anyone know who he's going select as his VP?

There is NO doubt in my mind that it will be McCain, particularly, since it appears that Obama will "win" the democratic nomination. To touch on what Perry just mentioned, 20% of Hillary's supporters say they will vote for McCain over Obama. Also, we can fully expect that the race card will be played (when Obama and/or his supporters invent some reason to call McCain a bigot and/or racist & you know it will happen) and that will cause a backlash.

Even I (who supported Romney) can be driven to voting for McCain. I'm not going to put up with this race baiting crap for four years. What the hell is wrong with people! The other day, Obama was out here chanting Si se puede with Richardson and using phrases like "the urgency of now" (Oprah says he's "brilliant") and some woman from the crowd shouted "I love you" & Obama replies "I love you back". It's sickening. It's like a cult, people are passing out. People don't know ANYTHING about him, other than they can say "Look at me, I'm voting for a 'black' man for President...you see, I'm not a racist" What a bunch GARBAGE!

Also, I completely agree with SNL/Tina Fey about the way Hillary has been treated by the media, versus Obama. He was never challenged or asked tough questions (until now, when he's all but locked-up the nomination). SNL really nailed his act, the phony affectations and sticking his nose in the air. The guy is so full of himself, it's unreal!

I think you are spot on.
  • OBAMA, grew up in a white mans world, never knowing his father who left him when he was 2...he is going to loose many white votes by starting this racial sh..t! He is listenig to those who are giving him 1.5 million dollars a day to run his campaign...and Oprah should be ashamed of herself too because if it were not for the white man giving her a chance she would not be where she is either! They both have hurt themselves by all of this...can you imagine both of them in the WHITE HOUSE! Heaven Help Us!
