This look like a MS-62 morgan to you? (new pic)

Must been a smuge on my lens, but where it is blury on the OBV rim of the coin it is fine nothing wrong with it.
Do you think i should spend the money & send it to PCGS?

    Looks more like a 64.

Also looks like a VAM 27 wide reeding.
    When in doubt, don't.
  • It would be an MS62 had it not been for the coutning machine mark on the reverse around 11 o'clock, which would merit it a Body Bag at a TPG

The coin appears to have a very slight rub on the eagle's breast feathers.

  • Looks nicer than 62 to me.

If you mean at the top of the reverse, it's not a counting wheel mark. It's an area of die polish that is extremely common on 1921 Morgans.
    When in doubt, don't.
  • i think i can get a good picture to catch the luster of the coin 1 sec
  • i tryed to catch the luster of this coin the best i could but i was thinking ms 62 or 63?

If you're looking to buy, pass.

    If you bought, return.

I agree. The fields, to me, don't look right. The eagle also looks like it's been wiped.

The luster in the right obverse field behind Liberty's cap, between the cap and Unum, appears a bit unusual, and woudl be worth a closer look with the coin in hand.

Having siad that, the value of a 1921 Morgan between only varies by about $15 between MS-60 and 64 ($30-$45), so there is not much of a commercial value issue -- but (in my opinion) more of an eye appeal personal value judgement decision.

Better than 62, but IMO the surfaces have been altered in some way.
